'We drove past in a flurry and immediately turned around to visit Coolavokig Pottery in September. Purchased a couple of small bowls that are fantastic for eating late night ice cream and they wash up nicely in the dishwasher. Have not cracked, chipped, or shown any signs of wear. We plan to stop by again in a couple of weeks on our way to Clonakilty.

We were fortunate to discover this little jewel tucked away in the countryside. The pottery is very nice and we got to view the wood burning kiln... Very cool! It was a nice diversion on our trip... Highly recommend!

I absolutely love Coolavokig Pottery, have much of your pottery throughout my home (vases, tea pot, mugs, bowels, & a clock to name a few), and always receive complements on them! The intricate art work /carving on some of the pieces are gorgeous, have an earthy natural quality to it, and always remind me of my trips to Ireland. Each piece is unique, no two items completely identical, and when I have friends over we each have our specific mug we like to use when drinking coffee or tea. I highly recommend stopping by Coolavokig Pottery!

I loved visiting your shop in May with my husband, sister and brother-in-law. It's a magical place. Every time I look at the wind chime your son made ,I smile and think of Ireland and send good thoughts your way. I'll tell my friends to look at your site so they can see the beautiful pottery photos. Meredith, thanks for being so hospitable, it was a pleasure to meet you and hear your story. Hoping to drop by again some time.

My sister Priscilla and I visited your pottery shop in late May 2010. We are from Maryland and Iowa and loved your shop tucked away in a beautiful glen on a hillside. I had coffee yesterday from a wonderful mug from your pottery. I think of you and remember that you are originally from the US. What a great place to visit and buy top notch pottery.

Hi. My father and sister and I visited one year ago - we are still enjoying our pottery!! Glad we left our email address

Such fond memories of our tip to Ireland . We visited your shop 2 years ago as we visited your beautiful country. What a wonderful surprise your shop was as we were exploring "the roads less traveled". We returned to Ireland with our children this past summer but didn't find you on this trip because I didn't record your info in my journal. Now with your email and web site, you are on the list of places to visit on our return.

Hi Robb and Meredith, great to see you both today and wonderful to see the great range of pottery on display. Mince pies and pumpkin cake were an added bonus... to die for. Hope you get through the trials of this cold weather in one piece and look forward to seeing you both very soon again.

All the very best, Catherine

I happened upon your place as I was driving from Cork to Kilarney and bought several pieces that I couldn't resist! I am glad I left my email address with you so that now I can see your pieces and hear how things are going. I wish you all the best and hope to return for a visit soon.

I was very charmed and excited to find this wonderful website, that opens the doors to just what I remember of Coolavokig Pottery. It's a lovely place..I loved working there on my school summer holidays. The tea was made so well that it made the afternoons go like trains running on kerosine.

Everyone should stop in when Robb is firing his kiln. He is a pro at wood firing . Do stop by to visit this beautiful place in the valleys of Macroom.

My wife and I are very glad that you have a website. I hope that in the near future you'll be able to have internet sales. We are especially interested in a large teapot with green and brown glaze to match the sugar and creamer that we bought. We're also interested in four cups/mugs to match.

Best of luck with the new website.

Sincerely.

I LOVE the small teapot that I purchased from your shop in July. There are several items in your inventory that I would like to purchase and I especially like the bright blue items. My family enjoyed visiting your shop and wish that we had purchased more items at that time. Now that I've found your business card, I'll be visiting your site often.

Congratulations! Great to see you online. We love our mugs (grey/green and brown -- bought over several trips to your shop). They have been very durable and a beautiful addition to our kitchen! Hope to see you again soon. Best of luck with your new marketing plan!
